Character Meet and Greet~~ At Night

I. Main Street Usa!
It's twilight, edging to evening, and yet the streets are still alive with citizens and Apprentices (that means you!) alike. Take the time to admire the lights, pop in and out of the cafes or just relax in the garden.
Weapon shops and magic shops are open late into the evening this time of year, so feel free to enjoy yourself before you equip yourself for the life head.
II. Apprentice Training 101- Evening Class
Same commons behind the fire house, same weapons and wands available for practicing your skills-- though this time under the cozy street lights and the bright blues and tired purples of a fading summer twilight. Strike at the training dummy or try to catch fireflies with whispers, its all up to you.
III. Things that Go Bump
Are bumping. And they mean business. A few level 1 corroded monsters are scurrying around Main Street causing havoc and it's up to you to stop them. The question is, is it early in the evening or do you dare to face the creatures at the night's darkest hour?
IV. It's time to Sparkle!
Everyone has a spark of imagination. That is, in fact, why you're here! It's time to shine with your own scenario! Just try to keep from causing too much trouble.

Mami finds a big, beautiful red one and passes it over, watching as it gleams in the firelight.
"Whatever you wish for, I really hope it brings you happiness. This world needs its light."

Rose debates pulling a Michael and curling up into a fetal catatonic ball position on the ground. Alas, she is not immortal, and for some reason, being human comes with a degree of self-awareness that just won't let her go full exposed pathetic insecurities on display like that, universe or multiverse be damned and all.
"That's supposed to be my thing," she said weakly. "Fairy of light." Alas , she was lacking in the sheer joy she needed to actually prove that. "Do you have a magic marker or felt tip pin? I've decided he needs an evil face." And mustache. He being the balloon.

Mami always keeps one on her, just in case a child desperately needs an autograph and lost theirs.
"Is there someone bringing you down right now, miss?"

"Expectations. There's a Charles Dickens' book about that, yeah?" Rose winced inwardly. Charles Dickens. Did everything have to come back to the Doctor?!
"If you set yourself up expecting things to be one way, you might miss the good things that happen for other reasons. And hurt people who've got other expectations in mind too, yeah?" scribble scribble scribble. She makes the Bow tie polka dotted, it looks good in the red. And then debates giving him devil horns, but that's racist.
"I'm just kind of waffling, I guess. I thought the hardest part of my mission was just finding someone to help me fight."
Rose kisses the balloon's "cheek" and sets if off with an eyes-closed silent wish, returning the marker with a "Thanks."
"Thing is, I found allies, way more than I thought I could, and obviously... nothing's what I expected. I thought I had to find my best friend, and I'm lucky! I did! But he's half as young, or twice as old as when I was looking for him." Rose shrugged. "Expectations, yeah? Here's to letting them go."

"I'm glad you have so many allies. It's not easy to fight the darkness alone."
She knows that far too well, actually. "And your friend...even if he doesn't remember you the same way, or you feel distant now...you'll always have that connection. Even if you have to work for it, right?"
