"If you have time to yell at them spend it watching your flank!" Mal called a she threw an apple at the corroded that had been heading for Priss. It didn't do much damage, but then it wasn't meant to. It was meant to get their attention.

"Make it now and do it right," she said, reading quickly from her spell book. "Cure them and restore them to the light!" She held the book to her chest and gestured with a finger, a green trail following as she did, her eyes lit green as the spell was cast. The corroded jerked with each swing of her finger, then collapsed a moment before rising as what it had been before the curse. She took a deep breath. "Well that's one down," she said, her eyes taking their normal colour. And she winced, moving closer to the woman. "And something like a hundred to go."
